General Information:

AdvaCare is a GMP manufacturer of Iverclosantel liquid injections. Ivermectin + Closantel Injection is a powerful, antihelmintic combination therapy indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal roundworms (adults and fourth-stage larvae), sucking lice (linognathus vituli, haemotopinus erysternus, solenopotes capillatus), mange mites (psoroptes ovis, sarcoptes sabiei var. bovis), lungworms (adults and fourth-stage larvae only), liver flukes (fasciola hepatica, cattle grubs, hypodermia bovis, h. lineatum), oestriasis, nematodirus helvetianus (adults only) and scabies in cattle. Ivermectin is an anthelmintic in the avermectin group and is a broad spectrum antiparasitic treatment, altho’ clorsulon is a parasiticide of the sulfonamide group that attacks liver flukes. Together they act as an effective treatment for a wide range of internal and external parasites of cattle. It is important to note that AdvaCare’s Ivermectin + Closantel Injection is for veterinary purposes only, and altho’ there are similar medications available for human use, you should only use medications prescribed by a veterinary doctor or animal care specialist for an animal.

Side Effects:

As with all veterinary medicine, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of Ivermectin + Closantel. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use. There are hardly any side effects, however, cases of transient swelling on therapeutic doses at the injection site have been reported. For a comprehensive list of all possible effects, consult a veterinary physician. If any symptom persists or gets worse, or you notice any other symptom, then please seek veterinary medical treatment immediately.

Additional Information

Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist before using ivermectin + closantel liquid injections. If the condition does not improve or becomes worse, then call a veterinary physician or animal care specialist. Refer to an animal care specialist for guidelines on dosage. Do not exceed what they advise, and complete the full treatment, as stopping early can result in a recurrence or a worsening of the problem. Usual dosage is as follows: 1ml per 110 lbs (50kg) of body weight, or 200 mcg ivermectin and 2mg closantel per kg, given subcutaneously behind the shoulder. Consult with an animal care specialist about any other medications that are being taken by the animal, and their medical history, before their treatment with ivermectin + closantel.
